About Me.

Hello, I'm Anuj Sinhal, the founder of EcoTech. My journey began as a curious teenager in Navi Mumbai, where my fascination with technology led me to explore the inner workings of smartphones and laptops. Inspired by channels like JerryRigEverything, I started repairing and refurbishing electronic devices. This hobby unveiled a concerning sight – the growing piles of e-waste in my home. Realizing the hazards these posed, from battery risks to environmental harm, I took it upon myself to make a change. Thus, EcoTech was born, a venture not just rooted in my passion for technology, but also my commitment to a healthier, greener planet. Join me in our mission to transform e-waste into eco-innovations.

Our Work

Reviving Technology: SmartPhones -

This project started with the collection of two OnePlus 6 smartphones from my family, each with a unique issue. After a thorough diagnosis, I discovered a processor malfunction in one and a display issue in the other. Skilfully, I dismantled both phones and swapped the good display into the phone with the working processor. This innovative solution brought one phone back to life, preventing it from becoming e-waste. The remaining parts were then responsibly recycled, ensuring that every component was put to the best use.

Laptops Renewed: From Slow to Fast and Ready for a New Home –

I gathered two laptops facing imminent disposal - one with persistent Wi-Fi connectivity issues and the other suffering from slow performance. Post-diagnosis, I replaced the malfunctioning Wi-Fi adapter with one from another to-be-recycled laptop found at EcoTech; Then, I upgraded the other laptop with a new SSD costing within 2000 Rs. This laptop was then donated to a new home, offering them access to improved technology. The unusable parts were sent for eco-friendly recycling, emphasizing our commitment to sustainable practices.
